1.lt is required to use butt welding flanges, but flat welding flanges are not recommended, because the steelpipe extends into the flat welding flange and it is easy to touch the valve plate, which affects the free openingand closing ofthe valve plate.
2.Confirm that the flange size must allow the valve plate to rotate freely, and the inner diameter of the flangecannotbetoo smallortoo largeseethe figure below right.
3.Afterthe butterfly valve is installed, it is not allowed to weld the flange to avoid scalding the lining.
