Check valve is also known as backflow valve, non-return valve, backpressure valve, and one-way valve. This type of valve is an automatic valve that automatically opens and closes due to the force generated by the flow of the medium in the pipeline. Check valves are used in pipeline systems, and their main functions are to prevent medium backflow, prevent pump and its drive motor from reversing, and prevent the discharge of medium inside the container. Check valves can also be used on pipelines that provide supply to auxiliary systems whose pressure may rise to surpass the main system pressure.
